The Advisory Council for Aviation Research and Innovation in Europe (ACARE) launched its new website to support the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA).

Built on the Flightpath 2050 vision for aviation, the SRIA will set the strategic roadmap for aviation research, development and innovation. Prepared by ACARE it provides a guide to future actions in public and private funding programmes, ensuring that research will meet the societal and market needs while maintaining and extending Europe's industrial leadership in this sector.

The new web site has been designed in order to meet the need for exchange of information underlying this ambitious programme. It represents a collaborative platform where everyone interested in future aviation developments will be able to access useful information including the SRIA documents and dissemination agenda; Flightpath 2050 as well as open calls for research programmes, issued at European and national levels. 

As one of the main contributor towards ACARE environment targets, Clean Sky welcomes this new platform that will inform on all initiatives and developments undertaken by the aviation sector in Europe.
