5 February 2008 - Clean Sky Take-Off:
This memorable event celebrated the launch of the Clean Sky Joint Technology Initiative.
More than 500 participants attended the Forum on February 5 th in Brussels to find out more about this innovative wide-reaching programme that offers Europe an ecological and sustainable perspective for air transport. Speakers from the European Commission and the aeronautics industry announced the official programme launch in the morning.
The afternoon was devoted to sessions on technical content, project management and how to participate.  

4 February 2008: Clean Sky regulation and statutes are published in the Official Journal of the European Union 

20 June 2007 - Le Bourget:
European Science and Research Commissioner, Janez Potocnik, gave a press conference to announce the Clean Sky JTI at Le Bourget Air Show. 

October 2006 in Vienna: AgustaWestland, Airbus, Alenia Aeronautica, Dassault Aviation, Eurocopter, Liebherr-Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, Safran and Thales signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the establishment of "Clean Sky", a Joint Technology Initiative with the European Commission.

1 June 2006 - Clean Sky Workshop:
The "Clean Sky" JTI (Joint Technology Initiative) Workshop organised by the AeroSpace & Defence Industries of Europe (ASD) took place in Brussels. The event gave an opportunity to candidate associates and partners to express their views and present relevant areas of excellence. More than 200 representatives from industry, research centres and universities participated in the workshop.
