The 6 ITDs

The selection of the technology domains has been carefully assessed to ensure all technical challenges are addressed by ITDs.
Technologies will have a potential of application on a broad range of products.

The cross participation in several ITDs of the members and partners of Clean Sky will encourage the dissemination, assimilation of best practices and knowledge for any partner of Clean Sky and the supply chain.

The demonstrators

A key milestone in the integrated approach will be the definition of the demonstrators. Based on the technology delivered by each ITD a set of demonstrators will be selected maximising the benefit for a whole range of product while ensuring cost efficiency.

These demonstrators will be a combination of iron birds, ground testings and flying demonstrators

The Integrated approach of Clean Sky will follow the well-known V cycle and enable a clear share of activities between the aircraft integrators and the equipment / systems providers.
