Due to the disruptions caused by COVID 19, the Clean Sky event ‘Europe for climate neutrality and industrial competitiveness: Innovative ideas take flight’ planned for April 21-22 in Brussels, has been postponed to the 4th quarter 2020.
In these extraordinary and challenging times, we are taking a prudent and safety-oriented approach, and hope you will understand our decision to postpone the event.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this decision. The event will be re-scheduled to the 4th quarter of the year and we will of course keep you updated on any further news and confirm the new date.

Engineers, scientists and researchers from all over Europe are collaborating to drive research and innovation that will significantly reduce CO2 and other emissions, while maintaining industrial competitiveness and mobility.

Please note that entrance to the event is free, however registration is mandatory.
Registration is open until 14 April, or before if the venue capacity is reached.
The event will start at 14:00; however registration begins at 12:30, during which we will welcome all participants with a light lunch. Please bring your registration confirmation email.
The event will take place at The Hotel, Boulevard de Waterloo 38, 1000 Brussels.
To reach The Hotel
From Brussels Airport (Zaventem): Bus lines 12 and 21 will take you from Brussels Airport (Zaventem) to the European Parliament at Place du Luxembourg in around 30 minutes. From here, The Hotel is a fifteen-minute walk. Walk to the end of Rue du Luxembourg, then turn left and walk down Boulevard du Régent. After Porte de Namur, Boulevard du Régent becomes Boulevard de Waterloo. The Hotel is on the right-hand side.
Alternatively, you can take a train from the airport to Gare du Midi and follow the instructions below.
From Charleroi Airport: The Brussels City Shuttle bus will take you directly from Charleroi Airport to Gare du Midi. There is a bus every 30 minutes, and the journey takes around 1 hour. To get the best price, you can buy your ticket online in advance.
By metro from Gare du Midi: Take metro line 2 or 6 to Louise. You will see The Hotel when leaving the metro station; it is a short walk up Boulevard de Waterloo towards Porte de Namur.
It is also possible to walk from Gare du Midi to The Hotel – it takes around 20 minutes.
