Boosting a Clean Aviation Partnership: Clean Sky aligning efforts with Member States and Regions

icon-calendarThursday 20 June 2019, 09:30 – 11:30, Conference Centre (room 3)

Clean Sky 2 Joint Undertaking is organizing the Conference “Boosting a Clean Aviation Partnership: Clean Sky aligning efforts with Member States and Regions”, in the context of the ‘International Paris Air Show 2019’, which represents an important event for the European aviation sector. The conference will be held at Le Bourget on 20th June 2019, 09:30 – 11:30.

This event will be focused on the reinforcement of a Clean Aviation European Partnership and the importance of pooling investments and resources by building synergies and aligning the efforts at European, national and regional level. The cooperation and the ensuing synergies that Clean Sky 2 has achieved with a number of Member States and European Regions, building on the opportunities offered by the EU Smart Specialization policy, and the challenges for synergies across the Horizon Europe and other EU programmes will be also highlighted by a number of speakers from Member States, Regions and Industry.

This event comes in an essential period with regard to both the preparation of Horizon Europe and the strategic process for the European Partnerships for Research and Innovation. Thus the ‘Le Bourget’ conference will also offer a key opportunity to express political support of the Clean Aviation Partnership and for an even more ambitious Clean Sky 3 programme in the future.
