Exploitation - Clean Sky

Exploitation is an integral part of the Clean Sky 2 research programme. It aims to demonstrate the use of results: in further research activities other than those covered by the action concerned; in developing, creating and marketing a product or process; in creating and providing a service; or in standardisation activities.

The technologies developed in Clean Sky 2 are at a TRL lever higher than 4 and therefore a number of activities will be needed during and after the project lifetime in order to have them ready for commercial exploitation (TRL 9).

The exploitation of Clean Sky 2’s research results may help to support the economic development of Europe and preserve its competitiveness.

For several technologies the main measure individuated to protect the research data is the patent. More details about the exploitation activities performed in Clean Sky 1 & 2 are shown in the two sections reported below.
