Smart Fixed Wing Aircraft (SFWA)
The purpose of the SFWA ITD is to take innovative technologies, concepts and capabilities that had reached TRL 3 – and which demonstrate the potential to contribute to providing a step-change in fuel consumption levels and noise reduction – and develop and validate them up to TRL5 or, in some cases, TRL6. The SWFA ITD has produced 25 scientific papers and more than forty technical papers. All the dissemination activities are reported in table Ai
The figure below shows the production of the papers during the course of the project. Clean Sky 2 is certain that further publications have been made after the closure of the project and for this it invites the authors to report their works.
Paper Production for Year
Most of these works were produced by the National Aeronautical Research Centers. This data was obtained considering only the institution to which the first author belongs. For the sake of truth, it must be said that more than 50% of Clean Sky papers involve more than one organization. This means that the participation of the universities and industries to the project dissemination is higher of that indicated in the picture below.
Paper for type of organisation
The dissemination occurred more than 50% in Europe, more than 35% in the United States and only about 7% in the rest of the world, as shown in this figure where the number of papers for country are reported.
